Hello Alter Health Community! I'm Katie. I am on a long road to recovery as I had brain and spine surgery for a brain Abnormality (chiari malformation type 1) 3 months ago. I also have Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and TMJD. So chewing is very painful for me.

I have a long history of digestive and reflux flares, SIBO, and have always been able to get them under control with the help of natural treatments from supportive naturopathic doctors and drastic dietary changes. My strength and ability to prepare nutritious meals is limited in recovery but I'm determined to find a way back to better health and less inflammation while I continue recovering. Looking forward to fresh health meal ideas and healthy community support.
